Bicentennial Middle is a trail that connects Bicentennial Trail with the North River Trail in North Fork Park. This is a relatively short trail by itself, but in order to get to it you need to ride other trails to either end.
By itself, the trail is not fantastic, but as part of a longer ride it is a good filler trail. We are not fans of riding up Bicentennial, and if you are looking to incorporate this into a ride we would recommend riding up Cutler Creek to Bicentennial and then down Bicentennial to this trail. Note that Bicentennial is steep and technical with rocks and roots that would be better suited on a full suspension mountain bike or E-bike. Once you reach the end of Bicentennial Middle you can either continue down North River Trail or look for the Long Loop intersection a short distance down North River Trail.
There are a few short, punchy climbs up Bicentennial Middle – especially the final climb to Bicentennial. Overall this trail is a better climb than Bicentennial due to a smoother trail, but probably a lot more fun riding downhill rather than uphill as we did (although that is true of pretty much every trail). While it is a decent alternative to climbing the lower section of Bicentennial, we still prefer to climb up Cutler Creek instead and then from the top of Bicentennial ride down Long Loop.
